I'm a middle-aged, fat, bald guy, who's not as fat as he used to be. Since I started cycling, back in February of 2006, I've lost more than 50 pounds. I'd like to get back down to my college weight, which would be about 100 pounds off where I was when I started.
It rained off and on most of the day. Instead of doing the 20 miles I'd planned to do today, I just did 14. But I really hammered them out. Did 14.2 miles in 46 minutes flat. Average speed of 18.5 mph. Average heart rate was 80% of max, and maximum for the ride was 89% of max.
